City of Saginaw MI -
Bringing Back the Ice Change of Dates

Because unfavorable conditions made creating ice at the beginning of Bringing Back the Ice impossible, we have rescheduled the following dates for the event.

This Saturday, February 11 will be the Sweetheart Skate and the Rescheduled Night Skate sponsored by Catholic Federal Credit Union. The warming house at Hoyt Park will be open from 12:00 Noon to 7PM with free hot chocolate and cookies compliments of Kroger.

The Skate with the SVSU Hockey Team is rescheduled for February 25th from Noon until 4PM. This date is sponsored by Gleaner Insurance.

Bringing Back the Ice is sponsored by Credit Unions Impact Saginaw and Saginaw County Parks & Recreation and hosted in a cooperative effort of Positive Results Downtown and Friends of Hoyt Park.

Credit Unions Impact Saginaw will be handing out winter hats to children who come to skate or sled each week.

Enhanced Law Enforcement Response to Victims Initiative:

The Saginaw Police Department is one of only three law enforcement agencies in the country that has been selected to participate in a unique program designed to help reduce crime, support victims, and enhance public safety. We ask that the residents of Saginaw participate in this anonymous survey being conducted by Saginaw Valley State University. Your participation will help the City of Saginaw Police Department expand its capacity to meet the needs of crime victims, and broaden those services where a need is indicated. This short survey is available online at the following button:
